WHEN "THE HIDDEN PURPOSE OF GOD
WILL HAVE BEEN FULFILLED".

"There shall be no more delay; but when the time comes for the seventh angel to sound his trumpet, the hidden purpose of God will have been fulfilled, as He promised to his servants the prophets." (Rev 10:6,7 NEB).

When the time comes for the "seventh angel" to sound his "trumpet", it says there shall be "no more delay". But why was there need for a delay? The delay has been necessary to allow "sheep"-like ones gathered through the "good news" of The Christ to be spiritually sanctified and come through the "great tribulation", having "washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." (Rev 7:13,14). After the commencement of the Sovereign Rule of God, His retribution upon Godless enemies will begin, and the time of recompense to His servants. (11:14-19 NEB).

Before the last of the seven angels of God sounds his thunderous message that "The sovereignty of the world has passed to our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign for ever and ever" (11:15 NEB), spiritual knowledge revealed by the opening of the "seventh seal", as prophesied by the "two witnesses" of God and recorded in the "Little Scroll", shall be prophesied "again with regard to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings". (10:11. 8:1. 11:3-6).

The final outcome for individuals and nations unreceptive to the spiritual "refining" work of the bitter "Little Scroll" or contemptuous of its contents, will in no way detract from its intent and purpose: Judgement. (Zech 13:9). Its contents distinguish between righteous ones spiritually responsive to the Holy Word of God, and unresponsive wicked ones. (Mal 3:18). But while unresponsive wicked ones refuse to accept the proclamation of faithful anointed "witnesses" of God or the "tribulation ten days" (years) they suffered during the "appointed times", these very events lead up to the awesome Day of God ! (11:3-10. 2:10) (See Pages 27/5/85 & 858).

WHEN "THY DAY OF RETRIBUTION HAS COME."
"The nations raged, but Thy day of retribution has come. Now is the time for the dead* to be judged; now is the time for recompense to Thy servants the prophets, to Thy dedicated people, and all who honour Thy Name, both great and small, the time to destroy those who destroy the earth." (11:18 NEB). Those not being made spiritually alive by willing subjection to the Way of The Christ administered through the Spirit "body" of his anointed brothers, are dead* in their trespasses though their fleshly body lives. (Col 2:13,14) (1 Cor 12:12,13). Their unawakened spirits will enter into torments, as they would only continue to ruin life on earth. (Matt 25:44-46) (2 Esdras 9:7-13 NEB). It is the arrival of The Christ Michael in power and glory heralding the Kingdom Rule of God that will enrage the nations: "The day is near when the Most High will begin to bring deliverance to those on earth. Then men will all be filled with great alarm; they will plot to make war on one another, city on city, region on region, nation on nation, kingdom on kingdom. When this happens, and all the signs that I have shown you come to pass, then My son will be revealed, whom you saw as a man rising from the sea. On hearing his voice, all the nations will leave their own territories and their separate wars, and unite in a countless host, as you saw in your vision, with a common intent to go and wage war against him." (2 Esdras 13:29-34 NEB).
