IDENTIFYING THE SOURCE AND EVIL
WAYS OF MODERN-DAY OSTRACISM.

Let us review the motives and associated objectives of those who ostracize others, beginning with the scripture: "When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through parched places in search of a resting-place, and finds none. Then it says, 'I will go back to my house out of which I moved'; and on arriving it finds it unoccupied but swept clean and adorned. Then it goes its way and takes along with it seven different spirits more wicked than itself, and, after getting inside, they dwell there; and the final circumstances of that man become worse than the first. That is how it will be also with this wicked generation."  (Matt 12:43-45).

This scripture warns what happens to those who begin to clean up their lives, but are not firmly established and sufficiently prepared in their faith to defend against return visits of unclean spirits. Demon spirits are the instigators of all evil ostracism implemented through the minds, words and deeds of demonically inspired men and women, particularly since evil spirits were sent down to the vicinity of the earth. (Rev 12:9). Evil spirits manipulate those willingly receptive to their control, and induce unenlightened ones to conform to their demonic authority. Using ostracism as a weapon, they seek to disrupt the moral and spiritual development of sons of God. They  used  ostracism and excommunication in the final testing of God's anointed servants during the prophesied "two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings", inciting "lawless ones" of JWs to "trample" on Christ's anointed brothers     which they did.  (2 Thess 2:7,8.  Dan 8:13,14.  Rev 11:2).

Demonically inspired men and women are active in all walks of life:  In homes, in schools, in workplaces, in sectarian religions, and in places where people socialize. While under such demonic pressure and the threat of being ostracized, those they socialize with compromise their principles to conform to unrighteousness. They no longer make a stand for the perfect Law of righteous conduct that they might be saved. (Eph 4:17-19). Jehovah may even allow an operation of error to go to them "that they may get to believing the lie, in order that they all may be judged".  (2:11,12).

Those who make a sincere approach to God through spirit readjustments in their lives cause alarm in the minds of associates still under demonic control. (1 Peter 4:4). To dispirit those making a stand for Godly principles, associates  may try to wreck them with false sayings, or become hostile. (Isaiah 32:7). They may try to make the  one  being sanctified feel ashamed      for moral achievers remind them of their own sins. (Wisdom of Solomon 2:10  20 NEB).  But why are there "lawless ones" to carry out such evil and destructive work, ostracizing members of congregations who gather to learn the Word of God?  In answer to this question, read the words of The Christ through the apostle Paul: "But the lawless one's presence is according to the operation of satan with every powerful work and lying signs and portents and with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved."  (2 Thess 2:9,10).  They do not have a love of the truth.

2 Thessalonians 2:9,10 is true of all who acquire knowledge of God but then ostracize others without a Godly reason for doing so (even ostracizing anointed brothers of Christ). "Lawless ones" use ostracism to gain control and remain the controlling authority in JW congregations. They readily accept and teach apostate error to change the "times and Law" of God, destroying in themselves all hope of future life, even trying to mislead chosen ones of God, if such a thing were possible. (Matt 24:24.  Dan 7:25). "Lawless ones" compromising themselves in this way are apostates sinning against the Holy Spirit of God.  That is why The Christ Michael will do away with them by the "Spirit of his mouth" and by the "manifestation of his presence."  (2:8).
