INSPIRED EXPRESSIONS.

"All Scripture is inspired of God (1) and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."  (2 Tim 3:16,17).

"But first note this: no one can interpret (2) any prophecy of Scripture by himself. For it was not through any human whim that men prophesied of old;  men they were, but, impelled by the Holy Spirit, they spoke the words of God."  (2 Peter 1:20,21 NEB).

"Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions (3) to  see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world."  (1 John 4:1).

"For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and their marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart."  (Heb 4:12).

"The Spirit says expressly that in after times some will desert from the faith and give  their minds to subversive doctrines (4) inspired by devils, through the specious (5) falsehoods of men whose own conscience is branded with the devil's sign."  (1 Tim 4:1,2 NEB).
