THE "GIFT". "At that time tribute shall be brought to the Lord of Hosts from a people tall and smooth-skinned, dreaded near and far, a nation strong and proud, whose land is scoured by rivers. They shall bring it to Mount Zion, the place where men invoke the Name of the Lord of Hosts." (Isaiah 18:7 NEB). This tribute or "gift" (NWT) are the spirit offerings of Ethiopians (Cushites) and people of allied nations as they subject themselves to God. At the present time Jehovah continues to sacrifice the three prophesied national groups: Egypt, Ethiopia and the allied nations of East Africa (Seba). (Isaiah 43:1-4. Ezek 30:1-5 NEB). Jehovah has prophesied that He will sacrifice many lives until this "gift" or tribute is offered by every nation on earth. "From every nation they shall bring your countrymen on horses, in chariots and wagons, on mules and dromedaries, as an offering to the Lord, on My holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord, as the Israelites bring offerings in pure vessels to the Lord's house". (Isaiah 66:20 NEB). Jehovah only accepts clean "gifts", Spirit anointed sanctified ones, and those being similarly subjected through Spirit sanctified anointed sons of "Mount Zion". Because Jehovah has prophesied that Egyptians, Ethiopians, and Sabaeans are to be sacrificed as the price for gathering back His sons, inhabitants of other nations who witness this will "tremble for their own fate from moment to moment" as He brandishes His sword in the faces of their kings. (Ezek 32:10 NEB). Jehovah knew that such extreme measures would be necessary to begin His "new heavens" and "new earth". (Isaiah 66:22). (Cont. on Page 15/9/85B).
