WHY JEHOVAH ALLOWS APOSTATES
AN "ACTIVE DELUSION".

All those who exercise faith in the Lord should not only scrutinize themselves, but also the conduct of those whom Jehovah allows to fall under an "active delusion", for the following reasons:

(1)	To prevent one being misled by people who *"put faith in falsehood"* and so will perish.
(2)	To find out why, after they received knowledge of God and His Son, the delusion of so many of them has been allowed. "Since they refuse to love the Truth that would save them", Jehovah has allowed their minds to be visited with an *"active delusion, till they put faith in falsehood"* (the *"miracles and portents"* of which are due to satanic activity). (2 Thess 2:9-12 Moffatt).

Let us examine the unGodly deviation of those who refuse to love the Truth: These are people who after coming to know the Will of God and vowing to live according to its requirements, refuse to accept righteous Spirit disciplines from Him or show agapé love. Why is it so important that we should love the Truth? Because this is the "narrow" way of righteous Spirit disciplines and spirit readjustment we must follow to learn how to show true agapé love leading to everlasting spirit life in the heavens. (Matt 7:13,14). For example: Many who consider themselves members of the "other sheep" have been taught by JW 'elders' that after death their hope of resurrection is to a life back on earth! (John 10:16). This is a fundamental doctrine of the "active delusion" allowed to inhabit apostate minds by God. Consequently, such ones hate any form of spirit correction from the "Little Scroll". (Rev 10:8-11). Its bitterness will bring about their end.

The gaining of immortality in the spirit heavens is the intended purpose of God for mankind, and is progressively achieved only when the Truth of God is willingly accepted and obeyed. Because JW members "refuse to love the Truth" and so reject righteous disciplines from God, they do not love or worship God at all. In fact, under the "active delusion" that He has allowed to be visited upon them as a reward for their apostasy, they are worshipping satan! While JWs regularly preach from the Bible, this sect is guilty of changing the "times and Law" of God and harassing faithful anointed sons of the Kingdom of God to suit their deluded purpose. (Dan 7:25). To propagate their apostate delusion, this sect has appointed many unsealed 'elders'. JW publications are riddled with unsuccessful attempts to fulfil prophecies of God, and they are the only sect to falsely allege that "the Day of the Lord is already here." (2 Thess 2:2 NEB).

When the "powerful signs and miracles of [their] Lie" (2:9 NEB) are exposed in them by the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement, it will be "to the end that I may make you an object of astonishment and her inhabitants something to be whistled at; and the reproach of peoples you men will bear." (See Micah 6:13-16). Having been visited with an "active delusion", their repentance and first faith is demonstrably false, for "they put faith in falsehood". That is why true Christians must continue to show works befitting their repentance, so that their faith in the Truth of God is an active faith. For faith without works is dead. (James 2:17,18).

Through "powerful signs and miracles of the Lie" published in books and magazines circulated worldwide by those falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses, their members have developed an apostate 'faith' based on falsehood. Followers of the composite "man of lawlessness" are being revealed by the Spirit of the Lord through the writer of the "Little Scroll" and his descendants. (2:3). At the arrival of our Lord, when the revealing of them has been concluded, he will destroy them by the "Spirit of his mouth" and the "manifestation of his presence." (2:8).

DELUSION:

Deception calculated to cause one to accept as true that which is false.
Anything that deceives the mind with a false impression. A false belief.
