"WHEN THE POWER OF THE HOLY PEOPLE CEASES TO BE
DISPERSED, ALL
THESE THINGS SHALL COME TO AN END."
(From Daniel 12:7 NEB).
WHY THE DEATH OF KHOMEINI HAS IMPORTANCE.
The death of the
"warrior king" Ayatollah Khomeini described in the prophecy of
Daniel will be a most important
development. (11:3
NEB).
For some time after the devouring activities of Khomeini have come to an end,
and the harassment and wearing down of faithful anointed holy ones of God by
satan has been brought to an end, the Heavenly Court of God shall sit in
Judgement. (7:25). Then shall satan be "deprived of his
sovereignty, so that in the end it may be destroyed and abolished."
(7:26 NEB).
It will bring an end to all related events on earth of this prophecy of the
"end of the age" (this "Esau" age). (12:13
NEB).
By the power of the Supreme One Almighty God Jehovah, not only will it herald
world dominion by The Christ Michael as "Sovereignty and glory and kingly
power were given to him, so that all people and nations of every language should
serve him", but also by his anointed brothers: "The kingly power,
sovereignty, and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven shall be given to
the people of the saints (holy ones) of the Most High. Their kingly power
is an everlasting power and all sovereignties shall serve and obey them."
(7:13,14 &
27 NEB).
With reference to the
"warrior king", the "contemptible creature" of Daniel
11:21 (NEB),
it says: "The king will do what he chooses; he will exalt and magnify
himself above every god
and against the God of gods he will utter monstrous blasphemies. All will go
well for him until the time of wrath ends, for what is determined must be
done."
(11:36 NEB).
The ending of the wrath of God is extremely important, especially for those who
continue to serve Him faithfully, as events will no longer go well for enemies
of God contemptuous of His Law. (2 Esdras 9:7-12 NEB).
THE DESTINY OF THOSE "AT THE END OF
THE AGE".
According to recent
newspaper reports (21st July 1988) the "warrior king", who
established himself by dissimulation, is still uttering "monstrous
blasphemies" against God. The one inspiring this sectarian "horn"
of Islamic terrorism of Daniel 7:8 (NEB)
to speak "proud words" is the same one described in 7:24,25
(NEB)
of whom it says "he shall hurl defiance at the Most High".
The rulership and defiance of
satan expressed through this "horn" causing the deaths of many
thousands by Islamic terrorism will be brought to an end, though
"not by human hands". (8:25 NEB).
When satan meets his end, The Christ Michael the exalted one shall appear:
"And during that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is
standing in behalf of the sons of your people" ("Israel"). (12:1).
"At that moment your people will be delivered, every one who is written in
the book" (of life). (NEB).
The end of Khomeini will not only
be important as an indicator of the approaching end of the wrath of God, but will be of far greater significance when all detestable things come to their end
and lose power. The new spirit age of "Jacob" will favour the Spirit among
beloved people of God and not evil spirits of contemptuous ones. It will be a
holy power and the everlasting "destiny at the end of the age" for
all faithful servants of God on earth and in heaven. (12:13 NEB).
