PERJURY IN GOD'S NAME.
(According to Zechariah 5:1-4).

PERJURY:

(a) The action of swearing a statement known to be false.
In Law, the crime of wilfully uttering false evidence on oath.
  (b) The violation of a promise made on oath.
  (c) To prove false to a person to whom one has sworn faith.

Jehovah has said that the "flying scroll" shall "enter the house of the thief and the house of the man who has perjured himself in My Name; it shall stay inside that house and demolish it, timbers and stones and all." (Zech 5:4 NEB). Those who through baptism in Christ have offered up an oath to worship God and obey His Will should have acquired sufficient knowledge of His Will (and the will of the nations). (1 Peter 4:1  5).  Important then, to maintain the Name of God holy before the nations through our own conduct and as an example to those we are responsible for.

Unfortunately, many men and women have publicly declared themselves as servants of God but have perjured themselves, giving false testimony against the Holiness of God and His Will expressed in His Holy written Word for all mankind to live by. Examples of perjury in God's Name are the shameful practices of homosexual deviants among church leaders who claim to be representatives of God ! (Rom 1:24-28). Such ones presumptuously ordain one another, and do this to dispense authority over others. However, only Almighty God Jehovah anoints His servants according to His choosing by Holy Spirit. The sectarian clergy also appoint women as priests in contravention of the expressed Will of God that women must not exercise authority over men and must keep silent in congregations. (1 Tim 2:11,12)  (1 Cor 14:33-37).  Disobeying the Word of God in this way is to lift oneself above God !

For many years the clergy have been falsely using the Name of God to hoodwink parents into having their children christened. After first deceiving parents, the clergy dupe their offspring into the fictitious belief that they do not need to appeal to God for a "good conscience" through adult baptism, given that their parents had them christened as babies. But babies cannot possibly know anything of the spiritual requirements of God before baptism. So how could a baby possibly appeal to God for a "good conscience"? (1 Peter 3:21 to 4:4).  No one is permitted to decide such a step for another. Christenings by the clergy are an example of giving false testimony and publicly offering up a false oath in God's Name.  THESE ARE GRAVE PERJURIES IN HIS NAME.

When anyone under an oath to serve God shows contempt for His faithful servants, such contempt is perjury in God's Name. It is also perjury to proclaim false interpretations of the Word of God or to practice unchristian deeds while under a baptismal vow after one has been warned. Those that corrupt the Holy commandments of Jehovah God are not only guilty of stealing according to "this side" of the "flying scroll", but are also guilty of making a sworn oath falsely in His Name according to it "on that side". (Zech 5:3).  Having changed the "times and Law" of the Holy Word of God conveyed through His anointed servants, they will be held to account for the Godless words and deeds they employed in their deliberate "stealing" from His Holiness, and "will  be  swept  clean  away".  (Zech 5:3 NEB)  (Dan 7:25).

Note:  As to the swearing-in of courtroom juries, Matthew 5:33-37 applies.
