"O ZION" ARE THOSE WHO WERE OSTRACIZED, EXCOMMUNICATED,  "TAKEN FOR NOTHING"
AND "CARRIED OFF" TO SYMBOLIC "EGYPT".
(Isaiah 52:1-6 NEB).

THE PROMISE OF JEHOVAH TO FREE OSTRACIZED SONS OF ZION.
The excommunication of Spirit anointed sons of God merely "for nothing" was when His anointed "temple" class on earth were "thrown down" during the "appointed times" without just cause and appeared to be deserted by Jehovah.  (Isaiah 52:5 & 54:7,8 MoffattSee  Rev 11:7-9.  Dan 8:13,14 & 12:7.  1 Cor 3:16,17).

Soon to be fulfilled is the promise of God: "Once you were sold for nothing, and now you shall be freed without any payment... "Why, My temple is thrown down," says the Eternal, "My Name is constantly reviled!  So My people shall learn on that day who I am, that it is I who made the promise.""  (52:3  6 Moffatt).  This promise of God is that He will never again be angry with or reproach His faithful anointed "temple" sons. It brings to an end the "flood" of His indignation upon them because of the apostasy and spirit of uncleanness in His spiritual "land" as recorded in the "Little Scroll", and an end to the concealment of His "face" from them during the "appointed times" when they were spiritually "trampled" on by the "disgusting thing" of unsealed JW 'elders'.  (54:7,8.  Zech 13:2.  Rev 10:8-11 & 11:2).

WHEN WILL JEHOVAH FULFIL HIS PROMISE?
When we hear the herald of God with "tidings of relief" calling aloud to Zion: "Your God reigns!"  (52:7 Moffatt). What evidence will there be among faithful anointed "temple" sons of Zion that this is taking place?

(1)

In heaven and on earth the limits of our "home" shall be enlarged.  (54:2 NEB).

(2) Not only shall we break out of our confines right and left, but even our descendants
shall "dispossess the nations" and re-people cities made desolate.  (54:3
NEB).
(3) We shall forget the reproach of our "widowhood" when we were without the protection
of our "Husband" and "Ransomer" Jehovah the Holy One of Israel.  (54:4,5
NEB).
(4) Never again will Jehovah reproach anointed sons of Zion. His steadfast love and His
covenant of everlasting peace shall never be removed from them.  (54:6-10
NEB).
(5) "Darkness" will cover the nations, but by His Spirit heavenly "Jerusalem" shall
"shed forth light"
(60:1,2 NEB).

The last remaining members of the heavenly "woman" of God were those who were ostracized and excommunicated by the "disgusting thing" "standing in a holy place" but remained faithful to the Word of God during the 1,335 days.  (Matt 24:15.  Dan 12:11,12).

Isaiah chapter 52 verses 1 to 3 describe the spiritual condition of Zion as "the dust" of spiritual inactivity and captivity caused by spiritually "uncircumcised" and "unclean" ones. These verses are the call of God to the "sold" anointed sons of "O Zion" to "awake" now that the total number of their brothers of the "Holy City" is complete!  (NEB).

It should be noted that Isaiah 52 verse 7 describes the good news of the deliverance of Zion by God, not  the  "good news" of Christ's ransom sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.  (See Col 1:13,14 and Rom 1:16).
