"YOU MUST PROPHESY AGAIN"     BUT WHY?

THE  FULFILMENT  OF  REVELATION  8:11  BY
MEANS OF THE "LITTLE SCROLL" OF 10:8-11.

"These then are the words of the Lord of Hosts concerning the prophets:  I will give them wormwood to eat and a bitter poison to drink; for a Godless spirit (apostasy. NWT) has spread over all the land from the prophets of Jerusalem."  (Jer 23:15 NEB).

"The name of the star was Wormwood; and a third of the water turned to wormwood, and men in great numbers died of the water because it had been poisoned."  (Rev 8:11 NEB).

"And I went away to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me: "Take it and eat it up, and it will make your belly bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey."" "And they say to  me, "You must prophesy again with regard to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings.""  (Rev 10:9,11).

The Christ Michael is the "star" called "Wormwood" who gives spiritual illumination to prophecies of God and reveals His denunciations of apostasy by means of the "Little Scroll". In it are corrections of teachings ("waters") made bitter by apostates whose teachings were crafted to kill holy ones. In fact, apostates corrupted a third of the Word of God for man. By restoring these spiritual teachings of the Word of God, the "star" then becomes as "wormwood" to apostates and their false teachings     causing their deaths.  (Rev 16:4-7).  The prophecy of Jeremiah 23:15 and Revelation 8:11 are scripturally a pair.  (See Isaiah 34:16).

THOSE EMPLOYING THEIR TONGUE THAT THEY MAY PROPHESY FALSEHOOD.
"These are the words of the Lord of Hosts: Do not listen to what the prophets say, who buoy you up with false hopes; the vision they report springs from their own imagination, it is not from the mouth of the Lord. They say to those who spurn the word of the Lord, 'Prosperity shall be yours'".  (Jer  23:16)  (Read verses 17  40 NEB). The sect falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses (a name dreamed up by Rutherford, a false prophet of this sect. 23:25-31) have, since the time of their inception, uttered many prophecies by a "vision of their own heart" and from "their own imagination". (23:16 NWT & NEB). With worldwide apostate proclamations made to sound as though "Jehovah has spoken" they have published such false visions  as: The indecipherable calculation of their 'Gentile Times';  that 'Many Now Living Will Never Die';  that 'The Princes of the New World are here among you'; and their eight false predictions that the world would end in 1874, 1878, 1910, 1914, 1918, 1925, 1975 and 1984. The reason for the anger of God against these false prophets is that they refuse to turn "from their evil course and their evil doings." Jehovah has said: "I did not send these prophets, yet they went in haste; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied."  (23:21,22 NEB)It is because of their fabricated prophecies and apostate public declarations that the "Little Scroll" must be prophesied again, which shall cause great bitterness to apostates, and their deaths!

THEIR AIM AND THEIR DESTINY.
So what inspires apostates to falsely proclaim they are witnesses of God?  Answer: "By these dreams which they tell one another these men think they will make My people forget My Name". (23:27 NEB). Spirit disciplines from our Lord, including corrections revealed through His anointed servants, denounces the spirit waywardness of apostates and is recorded in the "Little Scroll"     corrections which they look upon as "the burden of the Lord".  (23:36 NEB). But to those who "have changed the words of the Living God"  (23:36 NWT) Jehovah has said: "I will inflict on you endless reproach, endless shame which shall never be forgotten".  (23:40 NEB).
