"AND HE WILL PLANT HIS PALATIAL TENTS BETWEEN THE
GRAND SEA AND THE HOLY MOUNTAIN OF DECORATION;
AND HE WILL HAVE TO COME ALL THE WAY TO HIS END,
AND THERE WILL BE NO HELPER FOR HIM." (Dan 11:45).

What does all this mean? It means that when satan hears rumours from east and north that the inhabitants of empires ruled by dictatorship are rousing themselves to demand a change to demoncracy, satan and his horde "depart in a great rage to destroy and to exterminate many." (11:44 NEB). The last stand of satan is the planting of his "palatial tents" of evil authority between the "sea" of mankind and "the holy mountain of Decoration" heavenly "Mount Zion". (11:45). On the 3rd of June 1989 military forces of Gog began killing pro demoncracy protestors in China, who by their activities proved that rumours of mass rebellion against satan's tyrannical dictatorship were true.

"During that time" as satan meets his end with no one to help him, "Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people (sons of anointed ones). And there will certainly occur a time of distress (great tribulation*) such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation (the great crowd*) until that time. And during that time your people will escape (salvation*), every one who is found written down in the book (of life)." (12:1. * See Rev 7:9-14). "Your people" are faithful anointed sons of God by Holy Spirit. They refuse to give their allegiance to any human or evil spirit power, and solely worship the One True God Jehovah.

THE DEATH OF THE "WARRIOR KING" OF DANIEL 11:3,4 (NEB).
On the very same day, 3rd of June 1989, the "warrior king" Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran died. And although he once ruled a vast kingdom, "It will not pass to his descendants, nor will any of his successors have an empire like his; his kingdom will be torn up by the roots and given to others as well as to them." (11:4 NEB). Ayatollah Khomeini prospered until the wrath Divine had run its course as decreed by God. (11:36 Moffatt). Since 1979, more than a million people were killed during the ten years of Khomeini's dictatorship.

Our Lord Michael standing up in authority will bring an end to the evil authority of satan on earth. As for the satanically inspired Khomeini, who had been described as the man who inspired terrorism, his "monstrous blasphemies" against the God of gods exercised through millions of Moslems has been brought to an end by his cancerous death, as prophesied: "All will go well for him until the time of wrath ends, for what is determined must be done." (11:36 NEB).

SATAN'S CAMPS ARE DIVIDED.
Because dictatorships and demoncracies are by their rebellious nature Godless, Jehovah has gradually withdrawn His Spirit from among mankind. People of those nations most oppressed are feeling the anguish of this loss, which is notably demonstrated by their demonically inspired behaviour. The consequences of this are that through demonstrations Godless ones seek greater freedom of demonic expression and release from constraint. But when our Lord Michael stands up in authority, the inhabitants of both camps of satan, whether under demoncracy or dictatorship, will receive the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement upon them and experience the prophesied "hour of test". (Rev 3:10) (Isaiah 66:15,16 NEB).
