Down through the generations they've found,
Suitable dwellings in weak minds they've won.
Beginning with false gods of wood and stone,
To ruin the soul of every mother's son.

Occupying the minds of unsanctified men,
With dungy idols of pop, film and congregation,
Active in those substituting The Creator with idols,
That long ago executed families by immolation.

Tribal dispositions, painted faces, glorify their gods:
The kickers of leather, air, and opposing flesh,
The Law of God for life everlasting they reject,
Until too late to learn and obey at the last day.

We are warned:
"When an unclean spirit comes out of a man,
it passes through parched places in search of
a resting place, and, after finding none, it says,
'I will return to my house out of which I moved.'
And on arriving it finds it swept clean and adorned.
Then it goes its way and takes along seven different
spirits more wicked than itself, and, after getting
inside, they dwell there; and the final circumstances
of that man become worse than the first."
                                                      (Luke 11:24-26).

So let us share in our sanctification by God,
And thwart the visitation of unclean evil spirits,
Who through goddesses like Diana do deceive,
With the specious pretence of compassion.
