(MICHAEL 1).

THE APPEARANCE OF THE ARCHANGEL MICHAEL.
WHAT  IT  WILL  MEAN  TO  US  ALL.

After the rumours from east and north and the planting of satan's royal pavilion, it is written: "At that moment Michael shall appear, Michael the great captain, who stands guard over your fellow-countrymen; and there will be a time of distress such as has never been since they became a nation till that moment. But at that moment your people will be delivered, every one who is written in the book: many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will wake, some to everlasting life and some to the reproach of eternal abhorrence."  (From Dan 12:1,2 NEB).

NEXT:  THE ARCHANGEL'S VOICE AND GOD'S TRUMPET-CALL.
Those asleep in the dust but who are about to wake to everlasting life are also described in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18: "For this we tell you as the Lord's word: we who are left alive until the Lord comes shall not forestall those who have died; because at the word of command, at the sound of the archangel's voice and God's trumpet  call, the Lord himself will descend from heaven; first the Christian dead will rise, then we who are left alive shall join them, caught up in clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Thus we shall always be with the Lord. Console one another, then, with these words." (NEB). While other parts of the prophesied Signal of God are being fulfilled, this scripture tells us that the manner of his appearance will be through a manifestation of his power. But  these resurrections of faithful anointed sons of God will not be visible to mankind.

The archangel Michael will soon receive the word of command from Almighty God to begin the resurrection of faithful anointed sons of God who lived in past generations since The Christ but who have since died. Anointed ones still alive on earth when resurrections of those "written in the book" of life take place will, when their spirits leave their bodies, be instantly resurrected to "meet  the Lord in the air". Those described as waking to "the reproach of eternal abhorrence" are the great majority of mankind born since The Christ, who must "learn  the truth through torments after death." (2 Esdras 9:9-12 NEB). Sadly, the great majority "scornfully  dismissed the thought of  penitence while the way was still open" through the "good news" of reconciliation to God by faith.  (2 Thess 1:6-10.  Rev 10:7).

For many years, and before the imminent arrival of our Lord Michael, the struggle has been to "bring to fulfilment every good purpose and every act inspired by faith" in the spirits of his servants. Our  Lord  Michael's arrival with Spirit power will mean deliverance of his faithful servants as his glory is realized in them. But for the rebellious there is "eternal ruin". (2 Thess 1:6-12 NEB). As no people exist that have as  a  nation obeyed the "good news" of The Christ, no earthly nation has brought to fulfilment "every good purpose and every act inspired by faith". But  there does exist a complete Spirit nation that has     gathered throughout many generations.  (Rev 5:9,10).

Currently, the State of Israel and Arab nations live as enemies of God and mankind. There is talk of measures being  undertaken for conciliation between these separatist nations. (1 Thess 5:3). This talk is at a time when the "royal pavilion" of satanic authority is about to be planted in the region. When satan does so, the archangel Michael will stand up in authority. Then those living by Spirit and gathered to heaven out of many nations will fulfil their Spirit destiny, which until now has been constrained by Gog's crowd. With the wisdom that comes from God, those possessing qualities of spiritual insight and leadership will administer this Spirit over the whole earth. It will be like an expanse of heavenly light in the hearts and minds of those remaining on earth, with ministers of God on earth teaching the Spirit of His righteousness.  (Dan 12:3.  Isaiah 61:6).
