RESURRECTIONS.

There will not take place any resurrections of the physically dead back to life on earth in the flesh     not on this earth, nor in the promised "new earth".

A "NEW HEAVEN" AND A "NEW EARTH".
The promised "new earth" is new with reference to the Spirit governing people's lives. (Rev 21:1) (2 Peter 3:13) (Isaiah 65:17. 66:22). The wicked spirit influence of those dominating the earth with an "Esau" like disposition will be replaced by the righteous Spirit authority of the "Jacob" age. (Mal 1:2-5). The time designated for the "Jacob" age is one thousand years. (Rev 20:4,5). During this age, although people will die of the physical curse of Adam, faithful ones will be resurrected in spirit by The Christ. (Isaiah 65:20). There will be no interval between the "Esau" and "Jacob" ages. (2 Esdras 6:7-10 NEB). Furthermore, those of the dead who will hear Christ's voice and come out of their memorial tombs, will do so only in the sense of their spirit being quickened to everlasting spirit life in the "new heavens"; whether they died before Christ was on earth (Heb 11:13 16), or after his earthly death. (John 5:28,29).

THE "GREAT CROWD" AND THE "GREAT TRIBULATION".  (Rev 7:9-17).
The "Esau" age has been a tribulation for all servants of God. But God will repay tribulation to those who made tribulation for His beloved people. Those making tribulation for His servants are lawless ones who do not know God and do not obey the "good news" about our Lord Jesus. (2 Thess 1:4-10). The "tribulation ten days" suffered by anointed sons of God described in Revelation 2:10 occurred between December 1st 1971 and November 30th 1981.  (See Page 29/12/96B of The Signal).

In Revelation 7:9-17, those dressed in "white robes" (which symbolize salvation through spirit sanctification) are destined to be before the throne of God and of the Lamb in heaven in spirit bodies (where there is no sun to "beat down upon them". 7:16,17). This innumerable "great crowd" will be comprised of those who have come through the "great tribulation" of the "Esau" age into the new "Jacob" age, and those born and living in the "Jacob" age (Isaiah 65:23); each of whom will have remained faithful to God to inherit everlasting life in the new spirit heavens before the throne of God. They will be gathered from all nations. There is no scriptural evidence inspired of God to indicate that resurrections of the dead will be to another fleshly life on earth.

THOSE WHO DIED BEFORE CHRIST'S DEATH.
Those who died in faith will get the fulfilment of the promises they saw afar off. "And yet, if they had indeed kept remembering that place from which they had gone forth (the earth), they would have had opportunity to return." They did not, because by faith they were reaching out for a better place belonging to heavenly spirit life.  (Heb 11:13-16) (See Pages 870, 871A and 871B).  They have a City in heaven made ready for them.  (Heb 11:16).
