SOME TESTED SPIRITS AMONG THE COMPOSITE "Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world." (1 John 4:1).
'"The Gentile Times have ended; their kings have had their day!"
So exclaimed Brother Russell.'
('A Time of Testing'. Ch.6. Pg.61. 'Proclaimers of God's Kingdom'. 1993).
Charles Taze Russell made this declaration on Oct 2nd 1914. And now, over 80
years later, the kings of this world are still having
'their day' (of
worldly authority). The passage of time has proved that this and many other
inspired expressions of this satanic sect do not originate with God. Russell's
erroneous calculations and predictions are too numerous to mention here, but he
and his self A. H. Macmillan, another apostate founder member of JWs later recalled: 'A few of us seriously thought we were going to heaven during the first week of that October'. Russell had inspired rebellious evil spirits to inhabit many others like Macmillan. But faithful anointed sons of God understand what the apostle Paul was warning The Christ's congregation of: "However, brothers, respecting the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we request of you not to be quickly shaken from your reason nor to be excited either through an inspired expression or through a verbal message or through a letter as though from us, to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here. Let no one seduce you in any manner, because it will not come unless the apostasy* comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction." (2 Thess 2:1-3). And whose demonically "inspired expressions" do you think Russell's admirers listen to now? It is not surprising that Charlatans like Russell and Co. have blamed the apostasy* on the 'Clergy and Laity' again (but not on themselves of course). (Pg.35). What follows is the excuse they offer for their apostasy (and they always have one): 'Among the earliest deviations was a separation between the terms "overseer" (Gr. epi'sko.pos) and "older man", or "elder" (Gr. pre.sby'teros)... one bishop... having greater authority than, the presbyters, or older men. (Pg.35). Apostate men claiming to be spiritual "Jews" but are liars, use such titles as "elder" and "overseer" in the same disobedience today. (Rev 3:9). They even allowed these unsealed men to persecute and excommunicate faithful anointed sons of God! (and to gather, not "other sheep", but a 'flock' of their own!) However, the Scriptures warned that members of this "man of lawlessness" would proclaim such "lying signs and portents" and would sit down "in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god." (See 2 Thess 2:1-12). Hypocrites of the clergy are not known to have declared such "lying signs and portents", or sat in the "temple" of God to lord it over anointed sons of God. (1 Cor 3:16,17).
In the eyes of gullible ones,
Russell, Rutherford, Macmillan, and others following them, have by their false
predictions publicly lifted themselves above God, proclaiming their "lying
signs and portents" worldwide. JWs today "who are perishing"
view these men as beyond reproach (Cont. on Page 1/5/95B).
