COWARDS.
.

  Such boldness in numbers!
Without them, they withdraw,
When the twisted gets straightened,
By reason and Law.

Not for the timid are these words,
But against the bully, the proud,
Whose ways are like bracken,
Crackling, insistent and loud.

Enlisting other human spirits,
To dominate unwary souls,
But a man of wisdom is not broken,
By the cowardly deeds of fools.

A faithless coward
Is the worst of all,
He is nothing now, and will
Have nothing after this life at all.
