CHILDREN.
.

Children wait impatiently and yearn for knowledge,
As adults they often tire of its responsibilities.

The innocence and natural affection of little ones,
Is life and a source of joy to their guardians.

Sadly, some develop merely worldly intelligence,
Dismissing humility, replacing it with arrogance.

Wise parents sacrifice some of their child's affection,
To form their character with painful discipline.

Foolish parents spare the rod of discipline,
And are later hated by their children, and God.

Children lighten the hearts of the elderly,
Bringing to mind the days when they were young.

Don't overtax the mind of a child,
But feed it with healthy reasoning,

The consolement of love, undisturbed sleep,
And peaceful homes are essential for children.
