(Cont. from Page
19/1/92). Those without sufficient spiritual knowledge and tested loyalty as to true faith will most likely give way to "every lofty thing" raised up against Christian doctrine. (2 Cor 10:5). Whereas those who have true spiritual knowledge and whose loyalty has been tested can only benefit from advanced warnings concerning the approaching war of mankind against The Christ Michael (the "Word of God"). (Rev 19:11-19). Being armed with the Spirit corrective teachings of our Lord in the "Little Scroll", the Lord's servants are well prepared for this war. (Rev 10:8-11). But "the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. For we are overturning reasonings and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God; and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to The Christ". (2 Cor 10:4,5). We wait in anticipation of this spirit war breaking out worldwide, as the rebellious spirits of mankind attempt to discredit the basis of true faith in God and His Son. For the faithful, the outcome of this war will bring reasons for rejoicing. But sectarian apostates dressed as "sheep" will be revealed for the savage "wolves" they truly are, and shall be disposed of along with all unbelievers. (Matt 7:15-20 & 2 Esdras 15:1-4 NEB). The stark contrast between the benefits of personal sanctification and the promise of eternal salvation and immortality after one's earthly life, and this worldly system of imposed suffering, corruption, and evil designs formed by those at war with our Lord God Jehovah, makes it so desirable to remain faithful to Him, regardless of the good-for-nothing notions Godless ones direct against true faith in God. (Eph 4:17-24 NEB).
The outcome of this spiritual war
will be the fulfilment of prophecies relating to the end of this "Esau"
age and the commencement of a new "Jacob" age. (2 Esdras 6:7-10
NEB).
The evil offspring of satan ("weeds") and the faithful offspring
of the Kingdom ("fine seed") have become full-grown together. (Matt 13:37-43)
