THE BASIC PURPOSE WHY THE CHRIST JESUS
INSTITUTED HIS "MEAL".

"…but a new creation is something." (From Gal 6:15).  A "new creation" begins when men by Holy Spirit from God are individually cleansed of that "superfluous thing, badness" by obedience to the Spirit of His Word. (James 1:21). "...and his circumcision is that of the heart by Spirit, and not by a written code. The praise of that one comes, not from men, but from God."  (From Rom 2:29).

THE WORK OF THOSE CALLED A "NEW CREATION".
Under the old covenant, God gave hope to sinful people through the administration of His laws, written as a code on stone tablets. It was glorious because His laws were as a tutor toward the successful conclusion of that first covenant, that by their obedience the people might progress toward the ultimate goal of righteous incorruptible life. We now know that this chosen fleshly nation failed. (Heb 8:6-10). So Jehovah God through Jesus Christ His Son initiated a new covenant agreement by which persons may gain everlasting life through the administration of the Spirit. (2 Cor 3:4-10). Because the administration of righteousness cannot be achieved by laws consisting in decrees, even if the Jews had concluded the old covenant successfully, they would not have achieved the ultimate purpose of God. (Heb 10:1). And so it is in this respect that the glory of the administration of the Spirit surpasses the former glory of the commandments of God delivered to Moses for fleshly Jews.  (2 Cor 3:7,8).

It is through The Christ's administration of the Spirit that Jehovah has created the first of His "new creations": Spiritual "Jews" anointed and sanctified by the Spirit of Almighty God. These "new creations" became "something" (as opposed to animalistic men lacking spirituality) by the Holy Spirit of God helping to rid them of inherited badness. It is only through the spiritual outworking of badness by His Spirit (with which He anoints and seals the total number of the "body" of Christ) that they gradually become "something". (1 Cor 12:12)  (Rev 7:4). While this does not give members of Christ's "body" a distinguished position of their own origin and making, the accurate knowledge they acquire from God as to what constitutes righteousness does. For in their Adamic sinful state, without the sanctifying Spirit of God, they would have remained as 'nothing' before Him as to the hope of everlasting incorruptible life.

"THE PRAISE OF THAT ONE COMES, NOT FROM MEN, BUT FROM GOD."     WHY?
It is because these Spirit sons of God administer what they have been taught of The Christ's righteous teachings by Spirit, which are intended to remove badness from within the hearts of the people, that has ultimately led to their being despised, ostracized, "trampled" on, and removed. (Rev 11:1-3). But anyone taking steps toward baptism without their Spirit corrective teachings will be baptized merely "on behalf of the dead". (1 Cor 15:29 NEB). For without making the necessary spirit readjustments in their lives in their service to God and His Son, in accordance with what is administered to them by Spirit through The Christ's anointed brothers, the rebellious are merely conducting mock baptisms "for the sake of being dead ones", for they are not being truly subjected.  ( 1 Cor 15:23 29).

PAUL'S WORDS TO THE CORINTHIAN CONGREGATION ABOUT THE "MEAL".
Paul, in his letter to the Corinthian congregation said, "Therefore, when you come together to one place, it is not possible to eat the Lord's evening meal." (1 Cor 11:20). Because of their disobedient spirit aspect he meant exactly that. The reasons for this still exist among the sect of JWs today, stemming from the fact that their women  members do not obey "THESE INSTRUCTIONS" of God through The Christ concerning the headship arrangement. (11:3-17). These women work to fulfil their personal desire for glory by teaching and exercising authority over men. (1 Cor 14:34-37.  1 Tim 2:11-14). But women should be giving glory to God through The Christ by their subjection to man as to the Lord as a helpful complement and glory of him;  not deceptively exercising authority over him. The only glory a woman has is her long hair as an outward sign that she is obedient to the headship arrangement. For evidence of this, read 1 Corinthians 11:3-17 that are "THESE INSTRUCTIONS" to which Paul was referring.
