"Well, then,
you ought to have deposited my silver monies
with the bankers, and
on my arrival I would be receiving
what is mine with interest".
(Matthew 25:27).
THE "TALENTS".
These "silver monies" symbolize Spirit knowledge and
abilities given by The Christ Michael to individual members of his "body"
by Holy Spirit.
(1 Cor 12:27-31). They have been given for the purpose of increase,
"sowing" Spirit knowledge in them to "reap" other
slaves so that they too are subjected to the Will of God until the complete
number of 144,000 anointed members has been gathered. (Rev 7:4). According to
the principle conveyed in
Matthew 25:14-30, the "bankers" are those that have greater
heavenly abilities committed to them of The Christ's "belongings".
(See 25:14,15). Conversely, by his refusal to endure the mistreatment and
persecution that would result from the exercise of the "one talent"
issued to him, the "wicked and sluggish slave" is revealed at our
Lord's arrival as a coward. This "sluggish slave" refused to
"sow" this Spirit of truth (the spiritual commandments of our Lord)
in those chosen to be gathered for everlasting life through the subjection of
their spirits to The Christ's spiritual outworking of their sins
superfluous badness that must be identified and removed from their spirits.
(James 1:21).
"FOOD" FROM
THE "BANKERS" AT THE PROPER TIME FROM THEIR INCREASE.
The "bankers" (according to their greater heavenly
ability) are individual slaves of our Lord (25:15) symbolized by those
who have received "five talents", and impart their greater Spirit
knowledge to others for their increase, as it is written: "'Master, you
committed five talents to me; see, I gained five talents more.'" (25:20).
We also know that Jesus referred to "least ones" among his
anointed brothers. (25:40). Are these "least ones" the
"sluggish slave" with the "one talent"? Certainly
not, for The Christ Michael will separate "sheep"-like ones
from "goat"-like ones by the way they have treated the
"least" of his anointed brothers. (25:31-33).
The wicked "sluggish
slave" is the sort that hides the "one talent" committed
to him, presumptuously reasoning that the Master, The Christ Michael, would
"reap" anointed slaves for his household without the need for
personal effort from a "sluggish slave" with "one talent" which
he should have contributed towards an abundance. (25:24,29). Instead, he
even has this "one talent" taken away from him, for he proves
unwilling to suffer in the service of fellow slaves that are to be gathered to
The Christ.
But what should the
"sluggish slave" have deposited with the "bankers" in
order to gain "interest" for the Master? It was new spiritual
"food" made known to his "discreet slaves" to be fed to
his "domestics" at the proper time. ( 24:45 47). For with
the passing of time and the consequent gathering of The Christ's anointed
brothers, spiritual "food" from heaven is given according to the
spiritual condition and development of the "body" of Christ at
that time. What is proper for them now is solid "food" and the
"fine wine" of superior quality. (John 2:10). But the "fine wine" is causing "sluggish slaves" to reel as to spiritual
'seeing'. By saying, "What a weariness!" at the prospect of
feeding "domestics... their food at the proper time", they have
become the self-seeking "drunkards of Ephraim". (Mal 1:13. Isaiah 28:1-22).
Consequently, they are foolish "virgins" with their Spirit
"lamps" about to go out, and will want for spiritual "oil"
from "discreet slaves" at a critical time. But "discreet slaves"
would never sell the Word from God to them, and so in effect say, "'Be on
your way, instead, to those who sell it and buy for yourselves'" as
"'there may not be quite enough for us and you.'" (25:8,9).
Important to note is the fact
that to be subjected to God through the Word of God requires maximum spiritual
effort through sufferings. The "last hour" is the period requiring the greatest
effort from each one. It certainly will not be the time to waste one's spiritual
faithfulness on foolish ones. (25:8).
This "sluggish slave",
of which there have been many among JWs, fulfils the following scripture:
"Of how much more severe a punishment, do you think, will the man be counted
worthy who has trampled upon the Son of God and who has esteemed as of ordinary
value the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has outraged
the Spirit of undeserved kindness with contempt?" (Heb 10:29).
