"...And the widemouthed cooking pots in the house of Jehovah must become like the bowls before the altar. And every widemouthed cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah must become something holy belonging to Jehovah of armies, and all those who are sacrificing must come in and take from them and must do boiling in them. And there will no more prove to be a Canaanite in the house of Jehovah of armies in that day."  (Zech 14:20,21).

WIDEMOUTHED  COOKING  POTS?
TAKE FROM THEM?  BOILING IN THEM?  WHEN?

During this decade of the "Lord's day", the sanctuary of God within spiritual "Israel" has been profaned, just as it was in the time of ancient Israel. Jerusalem was once a fortress-like city and described by Jehovah as a "widemouthed cooking pot" with princes that were "scheming hurtfulness and advising bad counsel against this city" (its inhabitants). (Ezek 11:1,2 & 7). Anointed sons of God are members of spiritual "Jerusalem", some of whom are alive on earth today. But "popular leaders" of the city said: "Houses have been recently rebuilding; all is well! The city is a cauldron, and we are the flesh safe, inside it!" This was their reasoning before the calamity.  (Ezek 11:1-3 Moffatt).

For many years, those acting as "popular leaders" in spiritual "Israel" today have been heaping up "slain ones" through their "schemes of hurtfulness" and "bad counsel". While they boast of "rebuilding" and restoration programmes, Jehovah has said: "At the far borders of Israel I will punish you     to teach you that I am the Eternal; for you have not lived by My laws, you have not carried out My orders, you have followed the practices of the nations around you." (Ezek 11:12). This prophecy is now being fulfilled, as hurtful schemes and bad counsel of "popular leaders" of the sect falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses have caused many slain ones in the "City". But Jehovah has been a sanctuary to His beloved people this "little while" (Ezek 11:16)     a sanctuary from those who say, "Get far away from Jehovah. To us it (the spiritual "land") belongs."  (Ezek 11:15).

After having read Ezekiel chapter 11 and Zechariah chapter 14, you may ask why Jehovah says, "widemouthed cooking pots in the house of Jehovah" must become like:

(1) The "bowls before the altar".
(2) As "something holy belonging to Jehovah".
(3) That those "sacrificing must come in and
take from them and must do boiling in them"
.

This spiritual principle is the reason why Jehovah exterminated those saying to Moses and Aaron the High Priest of Jehovah: "That is enough of you, because the whole assembly are all of them holy and Jehovah is in their midst."  Why?  Because they were trying to "secure the priesthood" for themselves. (Num 16:3 & 10). After the ground had swallowed them up, the fire holders that Korah, Da'than, A.bi'ram and others had carried were beaten into thin metal plates to be used as an overlaying for the altar of God, as a memorial for the sons of Israel. This was "to the end that no strange man who is not of the offspring of Aaron should come near to make incense smoke before Jehovah and that no one might become like Korah and his assembly." (Num 16:39,40). So today, while the spirit of uncleanness of "popular leaders" of the governing body of JWs in the "land" with their "schemes of hurtfulness" and "bad counsel" have caused the spiritual deaths of many, their removal will be as a memorial to spiritual cleansing. It is a warning to everyone sacrificing themselves in a vow of dedication to Jehovah and baptism in the name of our Lord Jesus. This will take place after a scourge from Jehovah is poured upon those spiritually warring against future members of heavenly "Jerusalem".  (Zech 14:12-19).

In remembrance of this memorial, Jehovah will not allow "schemes of hurtfulness" and "bad counsel" to prevail against anointed sons of God (heavenly "Jerusalem") or their offspring on earth. Evidence of the spirit of uncleanness in the "land" is already on record, along with accurate knowledge of the scriptural countermeasures to be implemented to avert the future profanation of God's Holy Name by those coming in. The 'poisonous root' of spirit rebellion by those with "Canaanite" natures will not be allowed to grow.  (Zech 14:21).
