Jehovah's directions through The Christ are His disciplines for life, symbolically described as the "bread" of life. (John 6:35). By partaking of this "bread" we are progressively being released from the superfluous badness that enslaves us. (James 1:21). If anointed underpriests of God as ambassadors substituting for the High Priest Jesus Christ were to dilute or side-step some of these life-giving teachings, it would be the same as saying, "Look! What a weariness!" And by refusing to teach them they "have caused a sniffing at it"; meaning that their "gifts" upon His altar are spiritually unclean!  (Mal 1:13).  For: "The lips of a priest are the ones that should keep knowledge, and the Law is what people should seek from his mouth".  (Mal 2:7).

By holy example, and without fear or favour, underpriests of God should teach the Word of God accurately. The people should listen, obey, and not deceive themselves with false reasoning. (James 1:22). Jehovah's Word through the prophet Malachi is not addressed to deceitful Christendom, but to spiritual "Israel" today, to His anointed underpriests from the tents of "Jacob", through whom Jehovah sends the Spirit of Elijah "before the coming of the great and fear inspiring day of Jehovah."  (Mal 4:5).

IN WHAT WAY ARE THEY ROBBING GOD IN THE
"TENTH PARTS" AND IN THE "CONTRIBUTIONS"?
The "tenth parts" and "contributions" of the past were but a "shadow" of the reality to come, and should now be viewed spiritually. Priests in ancient Israel were provided for from tenth parts (tithes) and contributions from the people. This freed them from secular work so that they could carry out their priestly duties. So why would Jehovah say to these priests through Malachi that they were robbing Him "in the tenth parts and in the contributions"?  (Mal 3:6-10). The reason is that even today there are those acting as underpriests who are failing to carry out priestly duties for the people. They are dealing treacherously with one another by robbing Jehovah in the "tenth parts" (His Spirit disciplines issued to them); holding back from teaching the people all of Jehovah's provisions. But in side-stepping, amending, or diluting His Spirit directives, they are in this way presenting upon His altar "polluted bread", robbing Jehovah and the people.

How are those acting as underpriests doing this today? And why would Jehovah send the Spirit of Elijah now? The reason is that the governing body of JWs claiming to be underpriests of God with the responsibility of feeding both  "flocks" have been spiritually "committing adultery" with the "that woman Jezebel" and "her  children" (offspring today), just as Israel did in Elijah's time. (Rev 2:20-23). Those falsely acting as underpriests "have taken possession of the daughter of a foreign god as a bride", "sacrificing a ruined one to Jehovah".  (Mal 2:11 & 1:14).

Collectively, unsealed 'elders' of the "Ahab" class are the "foreign god". The "daughter" are the rebellious female offspring of the "Ahab" and "Jezebel" class who by teaching and misleading some of Christ's slaves, seduce them into taking possession of this "daughter" "as a bride" to them. They become the husbandly owner (baal) of the daughter of a foreign god as a bride instead of being members of the "bride of Christ". Only anointed ones faithful to the "bridegroom" Christ Jesus are of the "bride of Christ". (Rev 19:7-9) (Matt 25:10,11). Are you robbing Jehovah "in the tenth parts and in the contributions"? Or are you bringing "all the tenth parts into the storehouse, that there may come to be food in My house"?  (Mal 2:8-10).
